Customers are mixed about the size of the projectile bow. Some mention it's super big, but really is the perfect size when the string is on. It's extremely forgiving and has accommodated every archers draw length to use it. However, others say that it seems super big but really it'll fit in perfectly. The thickness seems a good balance for different arrow nock sizes. However some customers feel the bow is too big for their 11 year old son, the arrow rest is small at best, and the handle seems s little narrow for adults.

As accurate as you are! PERFECT for beginners and experimenting with different techniques!
For those interested in traditional/instinctive archery, twin bows - which is the category of bow snake bows belong - are the easiest bows to learn on. They're completely ambidextrous, include a shelf on both sides, and being molded plastic, always seem to come in lighter draw weights only, ideal for learning proper technique. I mistakenly learned how to shoot using a compound bow at a young age. Taking up the hobby again for my nieces and nephews (ages 8, 10, 16, 18), vlogger Armin Hirmer convinced me that a snake bow was the better way to go, and boy do I wish I knew about these bows back in the 80's. They're so much fun to shoot and so much easier to learn on. Not to mention accommodate both my older niece who is a southpaw and her younger brothers and sister who aren't.Being a traditional bow, the draw weight varies based on how far you pull the string, not what the bow is set up at. It's advertised as 25lbs at 28 inches. Though some sellers list it as 22.5lbs. I'm unable to test it to confirm which is right, and doubt I could tell the difference 2.5lbs might make just by drawing the bow. As an adult I'm tall enough to be pulling it the full 25lbs with each shot. At my 10 year old nieces draw length, she's probably only pulling a little more than 10lbs. This makes the bow good for a broad range of ages and ideal for learning different styles of archery. But, there are also 15lb models available for younger kids as well, that are also a bit shorter and probably a better match for ages 10 and younger. The bow string comes pre-nocked, with a good quality string that has a serving thickness that seems a good balance for different arrow nock sizes. So far it has worked well with both carbon fiber and wood arrows. I would avoid aluminum arrows with this bow, as they tend to be too heavy. Our bow even came pre-strung with a large paper branding label wrapped around it as if intended for store display. I assume they're now sold that way, unlike some of the pictures from previous buyers showing them to be shipped disassembled, which is better for the bow. Coming pre-assembled should make it easier for first time archery enthusiasts. But, ideally, unlike compound bows, you don't want to leave the string on your traditional bow when not in use to help prolong the bows/strings longevity. Having the nock already properly aligned on the string was appreciated though.Ours also came with an unwanted righthand bias, in that the left side shelf featured a stick on felt pad. Fortunately, the glue isn't very strong, as you'll want to remove the pad, for more consistency when switching between left and right hand draw, as well as different styles of release (three finger, thumb, etc). Accuracy is not affected by removing the felt pad, even for typical right hand Mediterranean release. If anything it seemed more accurate once removed.Twin/snake bows are extremely accurate. Or maybe I should say they're consistent, as the bow holds the arrow exactly the same very time. It's as accurate as you and/or your arrows are. And it's great fun to shoot, regardless of experience level. The bow has held up wonderfully with frequent use over the course of 6 months so far. Fifty bucks may seem a bit steep for molded plastic (or maybe I'm just getting old). But, the bow is lighter than you might think and just about the perfect fit for beginners of nearly all ages. Even my 8 year old nephew, who's not as tall as the bow yet, can use it and use it more accurately than the 5lb compound bow he's had since he was five. But he prefers the compound bow since it's shorter. Of course, most importantly, it's his.Highly recommended for beginners, young and old.
